United Brethren has retired.

Back home

This is my "home" ward chapel. The shockingly ugly architecture is a product of the 1960s "self-build" chapels when local members built meetinghouses themselves. A far cry from some of the chandeliered-chapels I have seen in Provo. But I still have a lot of affection for this monstrosity: not only is it where I gained a testimony, but its bricks and planks were laid by my father and others.

Ronan, what chapel is this? I went to Wembley Ward on Sunday and the building in this photo looks like the one I went to. For some reason it reminded me of one of the LDS chapels in Vienna.
